When we started this business in Calgary, Slabjacking/mudjacking had a reputation as only a temporary fix. It was industry standard to use inferior products and offer a 1 year warranty. However, CSL was able to develop a product that can offer a permanent solution backed with a long term warranty. Our product also excels at meeting the strict Kyoto environmental standards.

 

Concrete Specialists uses a signature high quality concrete grout that does not expand or shrink over time. We have a less than .01% settling rate. Many other cheaper imitations used by competitors can consist of mud, clay or pond scum/sand. The problem with these poor quality products is that they retain moisture, shrink, expand and are able to last for only a temporary amount of time. These products have a low success rate long term and cannot truly be warranted for more than 1 year. Very often when repairs are quoted very low, these inferior products are used and it is unknown to the customer until the concrete fill looses strength and begins to sag. The proper product may cost a little more upfront, but in the long run, using a superior grout pays for itself.
